Express data expands portfolio

Express Data has added two new brands to its portfolio with the signing of distribution agreements with both Xircom and Banksia.

Ross Cochrane, director of sales and marketing for Express Data, said the company will continue to distribute Hayes modems. "Whilst Hayes is one of the market leaders, typically what it didn't give was a choice for our customers," Cochrane said.

"If you look at what our approach is, we normally have the number one and number two vendors. Banksia has a significant market share and presence in the market space so that's been our driving motivation to add it," he said.

The addition of Xircom's PC Card and CardBus products will fit nicely into Express Data's remote access offerings, Cochrane told Reseller News.
