Renaissance brings Digital Life to peripherals team

Staff come together from separate divisions

Renaissance has grouped its staff working on peripherals and third-party products into a new team named Digital Life.

Group marketing manager Bronwyn Sinclair says the five staff were previously spread across three divisions – Renaissance Brands, RED (the education division) and the Apple division.

“We had people in different parts of the company that were doing peripherals and third-party products, and said ‘does it make sense to have people over here and over there, doing different things’? We looked at it and thought we could be more efficient and put them together properly into one team.”

The name Digital Life fits well with the nature of the products offered, such as iPod accessories, speakers, printers and digital cameras, Sinclair says. It also mirrors one of Renaissance’s taglines – ‘Powering the Digital Economy’, she says.

Brands covered within the team include Adobe, Belkin, Canon, Microsoft, Sony, Lacie, FileMaker, Logitech and Wacom.

The five-strong team is set to be joined by a new staff member in the new year, says Sinclair, adding the team also draws on marketing resources from the wider Renaissance group.
