NComputing, Insite launch NFR discounts for partners

Encouraged to use and demonstrate

NComputing and local distributor Insite are offering potential partners not for resale discounts of 25 percent on X series products in a bid to encourage them to use and demonstrate.

The X350 and X550 are two kits offered by NComputing, and allow up to 11 users to virtually share a PC.

“I want to encourage resellers and systems integrators to take the products to use for themselves and for demonstration” says ANZ/Pacific vice president and country manager John Robinson.

Robinson announced the promotional offer during a recent visit to Insite’s owner Renaissance for a dealer event.

He says education and training is “by far our [NComputing’s] most prolific market”, saying it accounts for about half of its business globally. He says in New Zealand NComputing has about 1000 user sites, while globally it has 15 million.

The X Series kits combine vSpace desktop virtualisation software, a PCI card and XD2 access devices, and are directly attached to the network, while L Series kits are connected via Ethernet.

Robinson says Insite was chosen to distribute NComputing in July because it can bundle the kits with the PCs it builds. “The reason I chose Insite is they have a product they bring to market and we fit very nicely into that. MPA was chosen by my predecessor, being in that thin client space.”
