iPhone 4 launch delayed

Vodafone and Apple decline to comment

New Zealand’s iPhone 4 launch has been delayed, with Apple and its official distributor Vodafone saying little about the reasons why.

Vodafone spokesperson Paul Brislen is referring all media enquiries to Apple, while Apple is remaining tightlipped about when the device will be on sale.

However, at 11.15am Brislen issued a short statement via email, saying "Great news! iPhone 4 is available from selected VF stores today - midday. Stock is limited so only avail on account. 4 selected stores see vodafone.co.nz/iphone."
