Eagle signs with Greenplum

Ramps up database offerings

Eagle Technology has teamed up with US based database software provider Greenplum to offer its products including the Enterprise Data Cloud distributed system for large-scale data warehousing and analytics.

Eagle CEO Gary Langford says it already has relationships with Greenplum’s existing hardware partners including Sun Microsystems, Dell, IBM and HP.

“In addition, Eagle is an SAP partner for SAP Business Objects BI software, so it is a logical step to enhance Eagle’s offerings with Greenplum.”

According to Langford, next generation cloud computing is a reality and a logical progression for many of its customers.

“By bringing together an array of innovative solutions that integrate with the cloud, such as Greenplum Database, Eagle continues to provide relevant and reliable products that can be tailored to suit our clients, making their businesses run more efficiently and cost-effectively.”
