Callum Eade leaves Lenovo

Replacement being sought for ANZ channel director

By Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Friday, 12 March 2010

Lenovo’s ANZ channel director Callum Eade has resigned from the company for health reasons.

Eade was formerly the director of small business and consumer and began his channel role in October last year. Prior to joining the vendor he worked for 18 months as Toshiba’s Information Systems Division channel sales manager.

A statement from Lenovo’s ANZ SMB and consumer director Chris Kelly said Eade decided to focus on his rehabilitation.

“In the interest of the business he had vacated his role so that we can fill this position to ensure that we have coverage of his duties and responsibilities to our channel.”

The company is now looking for a replacement.

In an interview with Reseller News in February, Eade said he was considering the makeup of the local team after the resignation of reseller account executive James Arnold but intended to keep staff numbers at four.
