Bong to head NZ Kaseya office

Takes up Auckland-based regional manager role

IT automation software provider Kaseya is opening an Auckland office, and has recruited former Chillisoft sales manager Sim Bong as its regional manager.

He is tasked with growing the customer base and working with Kaseya's existing partners - it has more than 100 local managed service providers.

Bong says the role is an opportunity to "take my channel skills to the next level".

"IT service providers are looking for better ways to do business, with recession-proof, recurring revenue. We see huge potential among local resellers, in particular in the SMB market.”

Australia and New Zealand regional director Tim Dickinson says Bong has the skills, contacts and knowledge needed to promote the managed services model here, and is joining Kaseya at an exciting time.

Bong has more than 12 years experience in IT sales and management. He is the former country manager for Laser Corporation NZ, an accessories specialist, and prior to this was SMB manager at Trend Micro Australia. He has also spent five years with Renaissance as brand manager for the networking and security division.
