A three year contract with the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) is up for consideration as it looks for a large account reseller.

The reseller will be managing NZDF’s Microsoft Enterprise system, NetApp data management equipment and supplying non-Microsoft computer software. NZDF has the option of extending the contract to five years.

According to tender documents released this week, NZDF needs a large account reseller as it has one of the most complex IT environments in the country.

The NZDF is looking to spend $3 million with Microsoft and $7 million on non-Microsoft software. NetApp spend will be in the vicinity of $2 million which is made up of hardware and support.

The deadline for replies is Monday, August 10. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 26706.
