Certus has recruited Dave Hickling to head a drive into enterprise infrastructure, focused on IBM Unix servers, Intel Blade servers and storage infrastructure for existing local customers.

Hickling is the former enterprise sales specialist for Integral Technology Group in Auckland, and has also spent two years as a sales specialist for IBM in the UK.

“This new initiative, focusing on IBM hardware infrastructure, is another step towards becoming a comprehensive IBM enterprise centre of excellence," says Certus CEO Brian Allen. "We will be able to enhance the value offered to our clients with a complete hardware, software, services and support offering.  Complex business requirements become more affordable as customers leverage our various IBM specialties, and project risks are reduced as a result of our focus on long-term relationships.”

Hickling will be based in Certus' Auckland office.
