IT services provider Datacraft is going after the CIO market with Cisco's Unified Computing System (UCS).

It signed an exclusive local partnership with the vendor this week. UCS offers networking and virtualisation in one platform.

According to Datacraft NZ managing director Robin Hartendorp, Cisco UCS is changing the face of IT for CIOs around the world.
“As exclusive partners, we are in a unique position to offer CIOs in New Zealand the key to freedom from high IT infrastructure costs and complexity that traditional data centres created.”

To help its UCS drive, Datacraft has appointed Jason Baynham as data centre and storage solution business development manager based in Auckland.

Baynham joins the company from IBM and has 13 years experience in the IT industry.
