NSC Group signs up 20 local customers

Ex-EDS and Avaya staff join integrator

After only five months in the local market, integrator NSC Group has experienced rapid growth due to high demand for its unified communications and contact centre business systems offerings.

The company now has 20 customers including Flexirent, BOC and Pacific Blue.

It has also gone on a recruitment drive with Paul Wilson from Avaya UK and ex-EDS staff member Michael Symons recently joining the company in Auckland, bringing staff numbers to 10.

Ex-Sun employee, Colin Howlett, is also based in Auckland along with Eric Van Der Sluis, formerly of Orion Health, and NSC’s Australian marketing communications manager Lindsay Davis.

Former Sun country manager John Mazenier heads up the Wellington office along with other ex- Sun staff Jason Barcham, Malcom Gibbs and Mike Spiers. .

NSC Group Australia director Brett Parsons says New Zealand is an important part of the company’s growth strategy.

“We are pleased to be able to support our existing customer base with an experienced local presence.”

He adds that NSC plans to target enterprise and government customers with its customised business offerings from vendors including Avaya, Sun, Microsoft, Verint, Juniper and Polycom.
