Department of Labour seeks endpoint security vendor

CA anti-malware may be phased out

By Hamish Barwick, Auckland | Tuesday, 13 January 2009

The Department of Labour in Wellington wants to select a vendor who can supply endpoint security for its desktops and laptops.

According to request for tender documents released this week, the product should provide protection from malware such as rootkits, and prevent data loss. The Department currently uses CA anti-malware products that may be phased out after the new product is introduced.

The deadline for replies is Monday, February 2. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 24643.
