Staff changes in the IT industry

Theta Systems has appointed Kathleen Tsao as a business intelligence and data warehouse consultant. Tsao has experience in the utilities sector. The company also appointed William Shi as a senior net developer. Shi has more than 10 years of Microsoft platform development experience.

Canon New Zealand has appointed Kim Conner as the new general manager of the company’s Consumer Imaging Products Group. Her appointment fills the position previously held by Craig Manson, who is now managing director of Canon. Conner was previously general manager at Schwarzkopf Professional.

Craig Hastings has joined Samsung Electronics as the new national account manager for its Vodafone relationship. Hastings has more than a decade’s experience in the mobile phone industry, including five years as country manager for Alcatel.

Attachmate has appointed Glen Stenbeck as systems engineer for its NetIQ range of solutions. Based in Auckland, Stenbeck will report to local territory manager Martin Mooney. He was previously technical services manager for distributor MPA.

Lee Yee Shiean has been appointed as the new regional product marketing manager for 3Com Asia Pacific. He is responsible for driving product and solution marketing programs across the region for the company’s enterprise and SME portfolios. Yee Shiean will be based in Australia.

D-Link has appointed Mike Sadler as commercial manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Sadler joins D-Link’s recently formed Business Solutions Group, focussing on the commercial, government, education and SME markets.

Aspect Software has announced the appointment of Steven Tan as regional marketing director for Asia Pacific and the Middle East. He previously worked at Compuware.
