Riverbed has hired Charles De Jesus as its new A/NZ channel director.

The responsibilities were previously handled by A/NZ regional vice president, Ian Raper and De Jesus was appointed to drive deeper partner engagement.

He will be responsible for enabling and overseeing its partner program updates, which also includes the launch of pilot programs for managed services that will be sold via the channel.

He maintains more than 12 years industry experience previously working for NetApp, Avaya, Westcon, Optus and Nortel.

Riverbed A/NZ vice president, Keith Buckley, said De Jesus will be pivotal to the education and enablement of its partners.

“Last month we made updates to our partner program in recognition of the fact that partners are more important than ever to our growth and expansion into new markets – particularly during this age of digital transformation that is rapidly changing the business landscape,” Buckley said.
