Ingram Micro New Zealand has landed a distribution agreement with Veeam Software.

Veeam provides virtualisation management software for VMware and Hyper-V virtual environments and Ingram will have access to the full range of products.

Ingram Micro New Zealand managing director, Gary Bigwood, said Veeam is an ideal fit for its market with products that provide availability for the always-on enterprise for enterprises large and small.

"Veeam represents state-of-the-art availability solutions and virtualisation management software for VMware and Hyper-V virtual environments and we are delighted with the opportunity to work with them," he said.

"Veeam’s award winning solutions allows our resellers to market to a large portion of businesses in New Zealand."

Veeam A/NZ head of channel and alliances, Peter Bender, said it maintains more than 183,000 customers, 37,000 partners and more than 10.6 million VMs globally are protected by Veeam Software.
