Dynamic move as Fusion5 acquires assets of top Microsoft NZ partner

Fusion5 has acquired the Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint practices of Microsoft Gold Partner, Koorb Consulting, one of the top three Dynamics CRM partners in New Zealand.

Comprising of close to 30 staff, the acquisition will also take ownership of more than 80 customers including AUT, Barnardos, Farmlands, Ballance Agri-Nutrients, Independent Liquor and Lincoln University.

“Our purchase of Koorb’s CRM and SharePoint practices brings on board a range of significant and proven skills,” says Rebecca Tohill, founder and CEO, Fusion5.

“We see huge opportunities to leverage this talent into our base of over 600 customers across New Zealand and Australia, many of whom have Dynamics CRM or are considering it.

“With Dynamics CRM and SharePoint as part of our solutions portfolio, we see considerable opportunities to extend and strengthen our relationships with our customers. The acquisition also puts us well on the path to achieve our goal of $100 million turnover.”

Tohill says the acquisition will see Koorb’s Dynamics CRM and SharePoint consultants relocate to Fusion5 branches in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, with Koorb’s Dunedin office re-established as Fusion5’s newest branch.

While the acquisition is centred in New Zealand, Tohill says the expectation is that Fusion5 will quickly leverage their new CRM and SharePoint skills across their five offices in Australia.

“We are extremely proud of the Dynamics CRM and SharePoint practices we’ve built up; their success is a true reflection of the efforts of two extremely talented and hard-working teams,” adds Nicholas Birch, Joint Managing Director, Koorb Consulting.

Koorb Consulting a 100 percent New Zealand company, privately owned and operated by the Directors, Nicholas Birch and Paul McDowell-Hook.

Established in 1999, Koorb’s core focus has been implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX (Gold Partner), Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Gold Partner), Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions (Gold Partner) and Microsoft SharePoint (Gold Partner).
