Aussie partners Powerhealth and Blue Crystal push out new Oracle database hospital service

Wants to push out to 1000 hospitals worldwide to help with billing

South Australian software vendor, PowerHealth Solutions, is working with Blue Cystal Solutions to implement a new Oracle database management service to help hospitals with their billing.

The PowerBilling & Revenue Collection (PBRC) system is an enterprise billing system focused on the health sector which automates many the laborious manual processing systems currently in use across Australia. It is designed to integrate easily with patient management and clinical systems to generate invoices using local billing rules, no matter the state or country.

PowerHealth claims it has nearly 1,000 hospital departments across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Hong Kong, New Zealand, the Middle East and the United States. It claims that it will increase hospital efficiencies and lower back office costs.
