The Wrap: Intel drone investment, faster in-flight WiFi, IFA preview

Smartwatches and HDR televisions will be big next week

Intel has invested millions of dollars in a Chinese drone maker as it hopes to catch up to Google and Amazon. 

In-flight WiFi will speed up now that the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration has cleared in-flight Internet provider Gogo to roll out updated technology later this year.

The IFA consumer electronics show kicks off next week in Berlin. We expect Samsung to debut its Gear S2 smartwatch. High dynamic range (HDR) televisions will be the latest gimmick from TV manufacturers.
