Networking innovation continues as Juniper recruits new CIO

Juniper Networks has announced two key appointments to its senior leadership team, design to further drive the company’s innovation across the networking industry.

According to the company, Bob Worrall has been appointed senior vice president and chief information officer, while Susan Lovegren has been appointed senior vice president of human resources.

Worrall reports to Chief Financial and Operations Officer Robyn Denholm with Lovegren reporting to Chief Executive Officer Rami Rahim.

“The opportunity we have at Juniper to lead the next wave of innovation and network transformation in our industry is incredible,” says Rami Rahim, CEO, Juniper Networks.

“That is why we are so honoured to welcome tech industry veterans Susan and Bob to our leadership team where they will apply their experience and passion developing forward-leaning technology and people programs that inspire our teams, enable us to innovate faster than the market and help us to solve our customers’ toughest challenges.”

Worrall joins Juniper Networks with more than 25 years of business and IT leadership experience, most recently at NVIDIA Corporation, where he served as senior vice president and CIO and was responsible for deploying innovative technologies to enhance employee productivity.

Worrall will be responsible for protecting all of Juniper Networks’ critical information, intellectual property and physical resources as well as ensuring all information technology systems are aligned to support the company’s people and growth agenda.

“Juniper Networks is driving incredible innovation in the networking sector,” Worrall adds.

“I’m excited to join the senior leadership team and apply my experience and passion for technology to support our employees around the world who architect and design the best networks on the planet.”
