Luxury heads to NZ as HTC One M9 reveals April launch date

HTC has revealed the New Zealand launch of its most personal and powerful smartphone yet, the HTC One M9.

HTC has revealed the New Zealand launch of its most personal and powerful smartphone yet, the HTC One M9.

The latest generation of the globally-acclaimed HTC One family, the HTC One M9 will be available from all New Zealand carriers and major phone retailers from 7 April.

The new HTC One M9 brings together updated design and engineering, embodying HTCs philosophy to simply and intuitively connect people to their passions.

Available in dual-tone Silver and Rose Gold from all New Zealand carriers and major retailers, the HTC One M9 combines premium jewellery grade finish and imaging with 20MP main camera, UltraPixel front camera, 4K video capture and professional editing tools.

The device also boasts improved audio experience with Dolby Audio surround sound and the flexibility to support up to 260GB storage today, while also enabling higher capacity micro SD cards up to 2TB in the future.

”HTC pioneered all-metal unibody design on smartphones,” says Ben Hodgson, Country Manager, HTC Australia and New Zealand.

“We have meticulously refined over many years, every aspect to deliver the pure luxury you see on the HTC One M9. And our customers have been clear, they want the freedom that comes with expandable storage.”

Building on a three-year pursuit of excellence, Hodgson says the HTC One M9 melds the best of the award-winning HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 into a “stunning, iconic design”.
