A/NZ growth fuels AWS Training Singapore expansion

Building on the rapid adoption of Amazon Web Services training across A/NZ, Bespoke Training Services expands its portfolio to Singapore as a Training Partner of the AWS Partner Network.

Building on the rapid adoption of Amazon Web Services training in Australia and New Zealand, Bespoke Training Services has further expanded its portfolio to Singapore as a Training Partner of the AWS Partner Network.

Instructor-led AWS courses offered through Bespoke Training Services are designed to help organisations and IT professionals build the skills necessary to effectively deliver cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform.

AWS instructor-led training sessions help those using the AWS platform to deepen their cloud expertise, with targeted and role-specific training.

“There’s a lot of positivity around the level of cloud adoption in Singapore, including recent research from the Singapore IDA which forecasts cloud spending among enterprises to almost double to S$920 million by 2018," says Trent Rosenthal, Director, Bespoke Training Services.

"SMBs and mid-size organisations in Singapore are also reportedly investing significantly in Cloud.

“We’re all about providing opportunities for companies and individuals to become more proficient on Amazon Web Services, to optimise their cloud implementations on the AWS platform and get the most value for their organisations.

"We know that acquiring new skills is a high priority for professionals in Singapore and we’re really excited to bring AWS training programs to the IT community in this region."

In keeping with the growing trend of companies choosing cloud and AWS, Rosenthal says the company typically sees organisations that work with Bespoke to design programs that ensure effective design and implementation of AWS cloud solution most likely to take advantage of AWS training courses.

“Far from becoming obsolete thanks to Cloud, the role of the IT professional is changing," he adds.

"Certainly we also receive plenty of bookings from individuals seeking the opportunities available to those who continue their skills development and stay relevant in very competitive marketplaces.”

AWS courses facilitated by Bespoke Training Services are delivered by Amazon Web Services’ own trainers, and begin with the one-day AWS Essentials class which provides an overview of the platform and its products and services.

From there the training path follows a curriculum built around specific job roles, with courses and certification offered in three main streams: Architecting, Systems Operations and Developing. Training specific to big data solutions is also available.

“To underscore and cement the role-specific content, each instructor-led training seminar includes immersive, hands-on exercises and gives participants a face-to-face opportunity to ask questions and discuss any real-world challenges they may be facing as they learn to implement AWS for their organisations,” Rosenthal adds.
