Ingram Micro NZ to drive Adobe's value incentive program

According to Muralee Kanagaratnam, Adobe’s head of channel for A/NZ, the region led the world in the adoption of CC for teams.

Adobe has selected Ingram Micro as its distribution partner in New Zealand to help drive the uptake of the company’s Value Incentive Program (VIP), which includes Creative Cloud (CC) for teams and the Adobe Partner Connection channel program.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team at Ingram Micro. They have demonstrated true partnership through Adobe’s transition of our creative offering to CC and are committed to investing in our business,” Muralee Kanagaratnam, Adobe’s head of channel for A/NZ said.

According to Kanagaratnam, 2013 was a big year for Adobe as the A/NZ region led the world in the adoption of CC for teams.

“In Q4, 82 per cent of customers in New Zealand chose to purchase CC for teams over our perpetual offerings, while worldwide the average was 57 per cent.

“In 2014 we look forward to working with Ingram Micro in the New Zealand market and continuing our momentum with CC for teams, Acrobat and Education.”

“Adobe is the leader in the creative segment and is a very important brand to have in our portfolio and there is real synergy with many of our other product sets,” said Gary Bigwood, Ingram Micro’s MD for NZ.

“The rapid transition and acceptance of CC for teams in the New Zealand market is very exciting and has been embraced by the reseller channel. We look forward to working with Adobe and our reseller partners to realise the great potential of Adobe’s innovative product suite.”
