Datacom scores EMC award

Winners announced last night in Sydney

Datacom has received the Outstanding Achievement award for Premier Partner in New Zealand at the 2012 Velocity Solution Provider Partner Awards, which EMC announced last night at an event in Sydney.

EMC's managing director, ANZ, Alister Dias, hosted the event and provided partners with what the company believes are the opportunities in the year ahead. “We are deeply committed to our channel partner community and look forward to working with them to transform and grow our mutual business in 2013. Industry trends such as cloud, big data and security are expected to create unprecedented market opportunities for both EMC and our partners," he told partners.

Brett Harris, the company's ANZ channel manager, acknowledged the accomplishments of the high-performing companies in EMC’s Velocity Solution Provider Program and congratulated the 2012 award winners. “The Velocity Solution Provider Awards provides a platform for us to celebrate the success of our partners, allowing us to nurture and promote continued excellence. They also recognise organisations that have achieved outstanding results in the last financial year.”

Ingram Micro Australia was named Distributor of the Year for ANZ.
